This discussion will pinpoint some of the most useful and provocative findings from the recent empirical research on creativity. Topics include fMRI and neurosciences, questions about the “creativity complex,” alternative definitions of creativity and relationships with other capacities and behaviors (e.g., intelligence, innovation), and options for accurate assessment of creativity. The discussion will be conceptual rather than statistical or methodological and time will be allocated for actual discussion (questions and input by the audience).
